It pays to take the time to look a little closer…

Yes, it took me almost a month to look at the whole photos from the eclipse day instead of the thumbnails. To my surprise and delight, in my ‘failed’ photos of the direct sun, I caught a cool image of the eclipse in the spots that formed from the camera’s capture of the light. I’m also thinking the beam pattern around the orb is odd with the vertical bright ones and soft even rays around the rest of the disc. Cool, I thought!
